Never thought something so simple could be so delicious. This Coconut Lapis recipe is a phenomenal way to enjoy the delicate taste of coconut in a sumptuous and flavourful dessert.

150g glutinous rice flour
75g sugar
3g baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 egg
400g UFC Coconut Milk
75g Naturel Organic Coconut Oil
50g Coconut Flakes
Dark Chocolate Syrup
Icing Sugar


Follow these steps:
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Grease and line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.

- In a bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, UFC Coconut Milk, and Naturel Organic Coconut Oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined and lump-free.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle coconut flakes on top.

- Bake for 45 minutes or until the cake is puffed and golden brown.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
*The cake will deflate slightly as it cools.
- Drizzle it with Dark Chocolate Syrup and sprinkle it with some Icing Sugar to serve (Optional)
