80ml Naturel Organic Balsamic Vinegar
3tbsp Naturel Sunflower Oil
12pcs chicken wings, halved
25g ginger, sliced
15g garlic, finely chopped
150g red onion, sliced
60g fresh chilli, sliced
1tbsp dark soy sauce
150ml water
30g brown sugar
1tsp salt
1tbsp ginger flower, sliced thin
1tbsp laksa leaves, sliced thin


Marinate the chicken wings
- In a large mixing bowl, place the chicken wings that are cut into half. Pour Naturel Organic Balsamic Vinegar into the bowl to marinate the chicken wings.
- Transfer the bowl of marinated chicken wings into the fridge and chill for an hour.
Make the sauce
- In a medium saucepan, pour Naturel Sunflower Oil and add the finely chopped red onion, chilli, thinly sliced ginger, and finely chopped garlic over a medium high heat and sauté till soft.
- In the same sauce pan, add in water, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and the marinated chicken wings and stir to mix well.
Cook the chicken wings
- Take the marinated chicken wings out of the fridge and leave it for 5-10 minutes before cooking.
- Add the chicken wings into the sauce pan and stir to mix well with the sauce.
- Cover the pan with a lid and bring the heat to low and simmer for 7 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the liquid form a firm thick sauce.
Plate & serve
- Arrange the cooked chicken wings on the serving plate and pour the sauce all over the wings.
- Garnish the dish with prepared ginger flower and laksa leaves for colour and additional flavour.
